Q. What is Site-Secure?
A. Site-Secure is a series of modules which can be used either as standalone units or as integrated units which provide a better, faster, easier Security / Facility Management solution that manages the void between Security Systems and Building Management. Site-Secure helps manage and track day to day operations within your facility whether it be Parking, Incident Reports, Lost & Found or Package Tracking and provides the Manager with easy to use reports saving hours and even days of work.
Q. What does Site-Secure consist of?
A. This software is made up of 14 different modules. Each module will operate in a "stand alone" mode or seamlessly in multiples modules.
Q. Is it an access control system?
A. No. It complements such systems and can be interfaced to systems that have an ODBC connection. Ex. interface to share the employee data base, in order to save data duplication, sharing alarm information to help build reports etc.
Q. Is it web based?
A. Yes, certain modules are WEB Based, which can be used for general and initial data entry. At present these modules are: Incident Report, Trouble calls and Visitor Registration.
Q. What is the Data Base and Operating Systems?
A. The Data Base is Microsoft SQL Server. The supported Operating Systems are:
Windows 2000, 2003, XP or Vista.

Q. Does it require dedicated computers?
A. No, it can reside on existing computer hardware.
Q. Is it LAN/WAN TCP/IP compatible?
A. Yes
Q. Is the software bi-lingual?
A. Yes, English/French, English/Spanish, French/Spanish, the language is selected when the User logs onto the system.
Q. Can reports be customized?
A. Yes, through the purchase of Crystal Reports.
Q. Can "labels" be changed by the user?
A. Yes, they can be changed, or hidden to suit each user's requirements.
Q. Can the software announce routine instructions?
A. Yes, instructions such as, change tape in VCR,lock perimeter fire doors at 5.00pm each day, check fire extinguishers first working day of each month etc. These would appear the screen the day and time required.
Q. Can the software notify the receptionist / Security Desk of undesirable visitors?
A. The Restricted Access Person Module will flag all employees, visitors or contractors that have had a restriction placed on them and signal the receptionist / Security Desk the nature of the restriction and how to proceed.
Q. Can incidents accept reports from multiple investigators?
A. Yes, the Incident Log Module can also store still images, live video and audio clips in the same file.

Q. Is there a limit to the number of workstations available?
A. No.
Q. Can Site-Secure be interfaced to a card access system?

Q. Can the software keep a record of personal qualifications?
A. Yes, it will also notify the holder, by e-mail, of the impending expiry date.
Q. Can the software track assets such as credit cards and laptops as well as larger items?
A. Yes. Such items can be tracked and will notify management who has what upon termination. It can also keep track of asset values, office location, make, model, serial numbers and barcode registration if used.
Q. Can the software store digital images, video images and audio files to complete reports?
A. Yes, any number of these files can be stored, the amount is limited by available storage space on the hard drive.

When assessing how you want to proceed with training, first go through the check list:

Examples:

Lets look at this in reference to your environment; If you are purchasing one or more of the modules, you are looking at training both administrators and operators, the day to day operators of the system. At this point you have two options first is to send both an administrator of the system and one or more of your operators to our office for training. Your other option is to set up for onsite training. Onsite training will consist of one of our certified consultants coming to your location performing the installation of your system with a designated administrator, working with you through the set-up and customization of your system. If a training environment is available operators can be trained on the modules they will be using. This will ultimately give your administrator the hands on experience working with your own system.

Current Customers

If your organization has been using one or more of the modules and you're system is up and running, you are dependant on Site-Secure Software in both your security department and your building operations, new operators are coming into your organization, this is when we should discuss our Online Training. This course is offered for both experienced and new operators and administrators of the system. For the new operators are they up to speed on the day to day workings of the system, is your administrator able to get around the system comfortably. Our online training can be set up via the internet so you can stay in your own office and work on a live working system. After you finish the course take the experience to your system and put it to work.

On going Masters Degree Courses

You are using one or more of the modules. Are you expected to run reports on a regular basis. Let us show you how to never miss a report deadline. We can show you how to optimize your system so it runs to its full power.
