Personnel Security Screening now includes Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT)

Open-source intelligence (OSINT) on the Web can contribute significantly to assess the individual’s reliability for an employer.

The SiteSecure Personnel Security Screening Module now includes an information management tool that helps departments to record potential elements of concerns, guide an analyst to follow every step of the validation process and identify a risk level rating for all entries.

The Personnel Security Screening module supports six critical components for estimating the individual’s reliability:

  • Record the web link(s) and the screen shot of the information to be assessed.
  • Allow to identify a temporary risk level based upon the completion of the validation process.
  • Record report(s), their objective assessment, interview(s), and historical accuracy of a particular source.
  • Record such elements such as prior incidents, established facts, and ensure consistency of information with other independent reports.
  • Rate their final risk assessment of reliability from the source itself.
  • Record the recommendations impacting the reliability status of the individual.

Site-Secure software enables the use of evidence-based research’s techniques to help clients understand the diversity and credibility of viewpoints on open-source activities.

As soon as it was detected, we immediately took action to secure our infrastructure and launched a thorough investigation with the support of independent cybersecurity experts to assess the nature and scope of the attack.

We can confirm that this was a ransomware attack that encrypted a limited number of our servers. At this time, our analyses indicate no data loss, and we are continuing our investigation to determine whether any sensitive information may have been involved. If that is the case, we will directly notify the involved clients and individuals, as required.

The security of our systems and the protection of the data entrusted to us remain our highest priority. In line with our commitment to cybersecurity, we have strengthened our security measures to prevent future incidents and have reported this matter to the relevant authorities.
